Coronavirus Lockdown in India: COVID-19 positive cases in India are now around 700.Coronavirus India latest news and updates:  The total number of Coronavirus positive cases in India has crossed 900-mark even as the country is witnessing a 21-day ‘complete lockdown’.  The Union government has allayed fears saying that there was no “hard evidence” to state that stage-3 of Coronavirus has begun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced a special PM CARES fund to deal with all kinds of emergencies like Coronavirus pandemic in the future. Ratan Tata-led Tata Group of companies also pledged to donate towards the coronavirus relief fund. Tata Trusts, Tata Sons and the Tata group companies will together put Rs 500 crore for help the fight against the disease which has engulfed the country.
With an aim to help mitigate the needs of poor people, the central government has already announced Rs 1.70 lakh crore financial package. The Reserve Bank of India has also announced a slew of measures to ease the burden of people in the country.
Total number of Coronavirus positive cases has now reached 918, including foreign nationals, 80 people cured/discharged/migrated, 19 deaths, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a regular update.The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases crossed six lakhs on Saturday worldwide. Over 28,000 people have been killed due to the infection which has engulfed almost every country across the globe.
Experts have asked people to stay at home, to not venture out on roads unless it’s absolutely necessary and to not believe in rumours, and don’t panic.
